The fundamental aim of this study is investigating level of managers’ support from employees training and development in the municipality of Tehran. The study employed a mixed method research in which qualitative and quantitative data were collected using interview and questionnaire. In this study, interview was conducted, by using purposive sampling, 8 training managers and questionnaires conducted by using stratified random sampling, 61 managers and 315 employees were selected. The qualitative data were analyzed using the descriptive, analytical and interpretive method. To analyze quantitative data, one-sample T test, independent T test and MANOVA was used. The research findings show that the most areas of supporting are: the resource allocation (time and proper equipment) for using learning content in workplace. The most important supporting level from the perspectives views of employees and managers are: to help to increasing the level of interest and motivation of employees to training and the opportunity use of training benefits (financial benefits, certification. Also the research findings showed that from the perspective of managers and employees, the most important barriers of managers’ support were high workload. For motivating employees to attend in training courses and sufficient support of training by managers also suggested that senior manager play as a template Manuscript profile

The present study was conducted to investigate the role and importance of chief knowledge officers in knowledge management development at Shahid Beheshti University. Of a total of 831 academic staff a random sample of 135 was selected by Stratified Random Sampling method. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire was developed and validated by experts. Using quantitative approach, a descriptive correlational research was conducted. The 21 items of this questionnaire addressed the components of knowledge management (maintenance, acquisition, transfer, and application of knowledge) whereas other 19 items explored the impact of the chief knowledge officer. Research data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed a significant relationship between the role of chief knowledge officer and the components of knowledge management. In the light of chief knowledge officers’ position, the most important factor was the application of knowledge then the knowledge acquisition variable، knowledge transfer، and knowledge preservation were influenced by the role of chief knowledge officers in knowledge management development. This research is prepared to present a structural model for personal development in TCI. Personal development is an effective procedure in developing and empowering managers in a systematic way. Methods: The descriptive research method is correlational in which the correlations between the components are examined. The research community consists of 220 TCI managers selected using random sampling and another 140 selected from Morgan Table. We collected the relevant data using a personal development questionnaire for managers with reliability of 0.96. Of the components, 16 in three dimensions of development is reviewed including “the effective factors in personal development” and “actions performed in personal development” and “managers’ individual competencies”. Conclusion: Results extracted from LISREL and “structural equations modeling analysis” demonstrated that structural model for development of managers consists of “three dimensions in personal development”, “the processes and actions in personal development” and “the managers’ individual competencies” in TCI. Each dimension has its set of components and the model has suitable fitness. Consequently, managers’ personal development was examined with a systematic structure. Additionally, the effective individual factors have an influence on process and actions with a path coefficient of 0.37. Process and actions have an influence on individual competencies with a path coefficient of 0.17. The relationship between the components is indicative of a clear process and a correlation so that factors effective in the process and actions will have an influence on individual competencies. The validity of model will be approved using structural equations and quantitative relationships between dimensions of model. Manuscript profile

The teacherpreneurship has received increasing attention over the past decades; however, the concept remains understudied, and the way the teaching profession and entrepreneurship are combine, is unclear. To fill this gap in the literature, this study aimed to identify the traits and skills and entrepreneurial actions of teacherpreneurs through a systematic literature review of current scholarly work on the topic as well as hybrid thematic analysis of study sources. The results of the study provide traits and actions that are commonly attributed to teacherpreneurs. The results are categorized into four dimensions of personal traits with 8 themes, entrepreneurial actions with 11 themes, teachership with 5 themes, and leadership with 10 themes. Teacherpreneurs are creative, knowledgeable, learner, resistant, active, empathic, moral role models, with commitment and responsibility and social motivation. Teacherpreneurs show also entrepreneurial traits and actions such as ongoing innovation and educational value creation, problem solving, risk-taking, networking, learner/audience understanding, providing resources, creating a common dream, and then creating a common creation. Teacherpreneurs are teaching experts who excel in one or more teaching components such as innovative teaching methods, assessment methods, and classroom management. They also set up professional learning communities with a reciprocal mentoring approach, lead an innovation team and explore new perspectives on teaching and learning as the educational leaders. The results of this research can be a basis for new research and can facilitate the development process of the teacherpreneurship. Manuscript profile
