Today, organizations including academic centers face many changes and challenges. Among these changes is the emergence of emerging technologies. Thus, lack of awareness of the emergence and strategic application aspects of existing technologies can lead organizations to irreversible crises. Among these technologies are Web 2.0 tools that have been the focus of this research. The purpose of this study was to identify the functions of Web 2.0 tools in human resource professional development. Therefore, this study has reviewed 22 articles in a systematic review of the literature and qualitative content analysis technique among the sources collected from the Scopus Scientific Database. The findings suggest that Web 2.0 technology has four major functions: strategies change of human resources learning process, strategies change of human resource knowledge management, strategies change of human resource interactions and communications, and strategies change of HR development perspectives in organizations. Also service provider organizations including educational, medical, and librarians were leading in using such tools for their employees' professional development processes. Finally, a conceptual framework for the function of Web 2.0 tools in the professional development of human resources in organizations is presented. Finally, the present study emphasizes the interaction of researchers and human resource development experts in universities and organizations. Human resource development experts are aware of the existence such tools and technologies in the course of learning and professional development of human resources and take steps to apply them. Nowdays, training is recognized as one of the most important factors that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of employees. Social media has been also increasingly used in employee training in recent years. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the value of social media in organizational learning through finding the perspectives of training managers and experts, then to emerge a model of social media usage in employee’s training. This qualitative study is based on grounded theory approach. The research data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 managers and training experts of banks in Tehran who were selected by random sampling. Data analysis was performed in three stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, and based on this a qualitative model of research was designed. The results of this study reveal the extraction of over 110 initial codes of interviews and 78 concepts and 18 categories in the paradigmatic paradigm including: central category (interactive technology-based learning), causal conditions (senior management support, change management, Competency-based HRM, Audience-driven approach), Contextual Conditions (corporate organizational culture, organizational agility, organizational policies, technological infrastructure), Interventional Conditions (Poor Technological Infrastructure, Inadequate Financial Resources, Lack of Staff Awareness), Strategies (Knowledge Management, Teamwork activities), Consequences (Reducing training costs, Improving employee performance, Training effectiveness, continuous learning). Digital technologies have become an important part of education and educational activists pay special attention to these technologies in order to increase learners' engagement in three dimensions: cognitive, emotional and behavioral. Video is the most popular e-learning medium, but with the development of interactive video technology and the possibility of more learner interaction with content, it is important to examine the effects of interactive video on learners' engagement. The purpose of this study is to answer the question which of the linear video and interactive video have the greatest impact on learners' engagement and whether this effect is different in learning styles. For this purpose, in an experimental design, a training course was designed, half of which was presented as a linear video and the other half as an interactive video. The statistical population was educational specialist and training and development specialist who were selected by purposive and available sampling of 55 people. After completing the course, learners completed an engagement questionnaire and answered the four-choice test questions of the course. The internal validity of these two instruments was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which was the participation evaluation form (0.878) and test (0.824). Using repeated measures design and paired t-test, the results showed that interactive video compared to linear video is significantly more effective on learners' engagement in three dimensions of cognitive, emotional and behavioral and is recommended to training and development specialists to use interactive videos. The theoretical and practical effects and applications of these findings in the field of organizational training and development are discussed. Manuscript profile

This study attempted to lay the ground for linking human resources data based on the results of the organizational excellence model for about 51 parent and subsidiary companies of the National Iranian Gas Company using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning methods. The goal was to present a model for clustering chief organizational managers based on the companies’ evaluation using the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM)-based excellence model. The unique characteristic of this method is that it is formed based on the actual performance and output of successful organizations, headed by successful managers and leaders. Accordingly, a performance-based excellence model can be achieved in the future. The outcomes of model evaluation for 2017, 2018, and 2019 for 51 companies affiliated with the National Iranian Gas Company were first clustered. Clustering was performed for 3776 pieces of data via AI-based methods, and coding was done in Python. This applied study aimed to design and develop a novel method for discovering the experts and scientifically classifying the organization’s human resources based on credible data. It also aimed to integrate novel scientific domains of AI, including clustering, to pave the ground for human resources research. In the applied dimension, the results were used in organizational planning and decision-making to generate a tool whereby the future managerial performance of the organization and staff can be predicted based on appropriate human resources data. Finally, a ranking is presented based on the competency gap by using Fisher discriminant ratio (FDR). Manuscript profile

Recently there have been a focus on the development of faculty members with the aim of meeting the challenging needs of society, university, faculty members and students. In this regard, technology includes the potential to create new opportunities in this field. The current research was conducted with the purpose of identifying the elements and designing a model for the development programs for faculty members based on FAVA. The research method was applied and with the approach of qualitative data collection and analysis, which was done with the comparative, inductive, and qualitative content analysis method. The method involved semi-structured interviews with 20 experts in the field of education and technology with a snowball method until theoretical saturation was reached. According to the findings 6 main concepts and 42 subcategories were extracted. The research results emphasize the design of the 6 elements of goal, content, time, space, interactions and evaluation, considering the capacities and challenges of adding FAVA to these elements. Finally, a pattern of programs was presented based on FAVA for developing the capacities of faculty members. In addition, some recommendations were offered based on the findings of the study such as designing an integrated system including various educational and research systems based on individual and organizational needs; active, experimental, personalization, informal and transferable approaches in a safe environment in accordance with the rules; considering simulation of face-to-face situations in a flexible and optimal time with active interaction of the audience, instructor and content with a clear and selective approach along with a growing and valid assessment.
